Case Ferne

In the heart of Istria, in the small and authentic village of Fernetići, not far from Brtonigla, there are two stone holiday houses – Casa Vecia and Casa Letizia. Each house has one double bedroom, making it ideal for a couple, but also perfect for two couples who wish to stay together while still enjoying their privacy.

Fernetići is an old Istrian village where houses were built more than 200 years ago. Today they have been carefully restored, and the houses Casa Vecia and Casa Letizia were renovated by architect Ugo Uljancic, with interior design by Marina Uljancic, preserving the spirit of old Istrian tradition and the warmth of an authentic home.

The village is small and peaceful, surrounded by nature and fields. Here the day begins with birdsong, and the evenings are filled with the sound of crickets – the perfect place to relax and escape the noise and rush of city life.

The locals are still engaged in agriculture, so the village is home to two wineries and several olive oil producers. Their olive oil is of exceptional quality, and Istrian Malvasia is one of the most renowned white wines of the region.

In nearby Brtonigla you will find several excellent restaurants where you can enjoy fresh fish, high-quality meat, homemade Istrian pasta and many local delicacies. The food found in this area is natural, homemade and full of flavor – just like life in this part of Istria: simple, peaceful and authentic.
